University-Rosedale Youth Council 2025
Expression of Interest Open Now!

The University-Rosedale Youth Council is a non-partisan volunteer initiative with the goal of improving the lives of young people within our constituency. The Youth Council is run by youth, for youth, under the supervision of the University-Rosedale Constituency Office. Membership is comprised of students from both public and private high schools across the riding. We meet twice a month to brainstorm how best to serve the community, and are always working hard to achieve our goals.  Through the Youth Council, students have the opportunity to learn more about policy development, politics, and government.

The University-Rosedale Youth Council shall commence in late September or early October. Please fill out the form on the following page to express interest in joining.

Throughout its existence, the University-Rosedale Youth Council has been involved in many initiatives that have benefited our community. Being composed of youths entirely, we are deeply in touch with the problems facing our community, and especially those faced by our generation. Issues such as homelessness, unemployment, climate change, mental health, and social injustice are at the forefront of what we work to solve.

In the past, we have contributed to causes through food drives, awareness forums, and donations.

For example, we collected and donated books for CAMH Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, hosted a Youth Parliamentary Forum, a collective meeting that included many youth councils around the city. Our goal is to improve our riding through non-partisan, meaningful, volunteer activities.  Help us make a difference in our community!
